AMBER Alert Issued for Missing 5-Year-Old Boy Last Seen in Katy, Texas

KATY, Texas — Authorities have issued an AMBER Alert for a missing and possibly abducted 5-year-old boy who was last seen in the Katy area, and they are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any information that could help bring him home safely.

The child has been identified as Edward Hall, a 5-year-old Black male. According to the alert, Edward was last seen wearing a black and blue Elmo T-shirt and black shorts.

Investigators believe the child may have been abducted, prompting the activation of the statewide AMBER Alert system. Officials have not yet released additional details about the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information about Edward’s whereabouts to come forward immediately.
